HEAVY METAL DVD´s
DIVILJE JAGODE - DOM SPORTOVA live 27.04.2004(LIVE DVD + 3 video tracks / ONE REC) SERBIJA
Finally is released a live DVD from this supergroup. Actual DIVILJE JAGODE is still the guitar god Zele Lipovace the legendary guitarist. He is constant from the beginning back in 1978 inside the group. The new singer Pero Galic and on the bass Dejan Oreskovic. The drums are handle by mr. Thomas Balaz. The first part of the DVD contains six live tracks from a concert at the Sportova hall in Zagreb. The opening track at this live gig is the over all the years still listenable DIVILJE JAGODE (which means in english WILD STRAWBEERIES). You can feel and see again the unbelieveable good live athmosphere in the second track KRIVO JE MORE. Their vocalist Pero Galic which is also a good guitarist too introduce this ballad on the acoustic guitar there together with Zele on the electric axe. You should see the emotio nal ladden reactions in the publicum. The following track KAP TO KAP is a present track from their latest release OD NEBA DO NEBA.Then you can hear the class of Zele Lipovace on his guitar. His performing in TURSKI MARCH a virtuose celebrated instrumental which slides into the classical ZA ELIZU. This energetic version of a famous Ludwig van Beethoven composition always impressed me a lot. Original this instrumental was on their back in 1985 published album KONIJE. Straight ahead the band turns in the last song their classic heavy rock tune MOTORI. I think every child in yugoslavia knows this superhit. It´s really incredible with how much enthusiasm the public celebrates this song at this imposant stage in Zagreb. I don´t know why this DVD features only six live tracks. Hopefully there will be publish in the future a complete live show. Fortunaly the DVD contains also their single hit MARIJA. This lovely video clip was also present in the TV. Further is inclu ded another professional live clip of the 2003 version of MOTORI. It seems so that this set was filmed at a biker festival. The final cut is another emo tional clip which also runs into the TV. MOB RULES - SIGN OF THE TIME LIVE

Like every constant working metal act publish this north german based traditional Heavy Metal band after several studio albums this fine packaged Live CD in contribution with a professional filmed live gig on DVD. After a short introduction about the making of the concert starts with the melodic ear catcher BLACK RAIN. The sound and picture quality is really suberb. No wonder, the gig was filmed professional by the use of high standart equipment. Be sure to see the concert from different camera views. Every thing is filmed under perfect conditions by the company roax films (www.roaxfilms.de) Memoriable tunes like LORD OF MADNESS or old songs as CELEBRATION DAY from their first cd SAVAGE LANDS will surprise every lover of timeless heavy metal ...! For those of you which are not confirm with the sound of MOB RULES there is a short discribtion of their musi cally direction. I think I am not wrong if I open again another drawer ... ha,ha. Serious the sympathic band is a mixture of classic heavy metal in the vain of HELLOWEEN / HEAVENS GATE. Many times also you can hear passa ges of epic SAVATAGE parts too. Fast tracks how the newer HYDROPHO BIA changes with groovy mid tempo songs as OUTERSPACE or the emotional UNKNOWN MAN. This epic cut r (eminds me too on the great moments of ROUGH SILK and SAVATAGE. Normal the keyboa rder is not the important musican in such a band. But SASCHA ONNEN is this type of an elec tro pianogod like FERDY DOERNBERG of ROUGH SILK.Again another great moment on the dvd is the essential THE END OF ALL DAYS followed by the classic banger HOLLOWED BE THY NAME from their same titeled 3rd album. With a total play ing time of circa 155 minutes offers this dvd value for the money. As bonus contains the film also sequences from the WACKEN ROAD SHOW 2003 and also too an interview together with live parts from the beginning in WACKEN at the millenium year.Last but not least we can enjoy the official video clip for BLACK RAIN in two different versions. The dvd contains also as bonus a history part about the band with english and french subtitles. Further includes this set an audio live cd which contains all eleven tracks from the regular live show from the dvd too. KRALJEVSKI APARTMAN - DESET GODINA
SA VAMA (ROCK EXPRESS DVD´2005) SERBIJA
Ten years together with you is the title of the dvd version of this concert by Belgrad´s KRALJEVSKI APARTMENT. This im pressive live show was filmed in march 05th ´2005 at the Studenski Club in the capitol of Serbija. In front of a big crowd the sympatic band celebrates a real firework with all the many great songs fromm their first four releases. Original this concert first was published with a different tracklist via PGP/RTS records. But this firm didn´t used the option for a visuell release.Finally ROCK EXPRESS another Belgrade based company published then this dvd with a different songlist and some extra bonus material! So if you into the whole discographie of this act be sure to collect also this fine dvd too.By the way the liveset is professional filmed (screen 4:3 / dolby digital 2.0 / country code: all regions) and contains seventeen tracks fullfiled with animated menues, an interview plus as bonus official video clips.All in all we came so on a total play time of circa 120 minutes! DESET GODINA includes different tracks from all recording periods of the band.For example the re are recordings from the albums LONG LIVE ROCK´N ROLL (´97), IZGUBLJEN U VREMENU (2nd CD LOST IN TIME´2000), ROCKER (2002) and their best release RUKA PRAVDE (HAND OF THE JUSTICE´2005). It´s a pleasure to enjoy such great tunes as MRACAN GRAD, RUKA PRAVDE, IZABERI JEDAN PUT or DAMA IZ KRALJEVSKOG APARTMANA (to name only a few...) in relaxed atmosphere in front of the TV... ha, ha !!! I also appreciate also a lot the original videoclips for the RUKA PRAVDE sessions too. If you have a chance to buy this album, do yourself a pleasure and collect this item. I am not sure if this latest information is true. But some friends in Serbia told me that the band meanwhile split up. I hope that won´t be so. AXAT - POHODNI (MAKING OF)
(HARBOUR ISLAND RECORDS / DVD´2004) BULGARIA
Without a doubt is AXAT still one of the most influencial classic Heavy Metal bands from Bulgaria.Since their famous debut THE MARCH from 1989 on BALKANTON RECORDS is the group more or less one of the leaders of the metal scene in their country. But more or less lost the group their magick from the famous old days. If I am informed wright is this meanwhile the fourth DVD release of the band.One year before this publishing was out on the same company the midclass DVD
MADE IN USA followed by an ominous free away given promotional DVD with the title NOXODBT.So what await us really from this latest fine packaged and looking release ? To made it short more or less nothing except if you interest in a boring story about the relation and planing of their bulgarian concerts in Varna and Sofia. Sometimes we see short (really short) live sequenze parts and everytime if you think in such a moment now I enjoy a complete track someone interrupt it ... !!! You can imagine that this nervs. Personal I think a lot of other famous groups published also so called MAKING OF DVD recordings but mixed them together with clips or full played live parts... But I don´t know why this company followed not such a successful way! So if youn really interes about the story behind this DVD could be of interest for die hard fans.By the way the quality of the filmed and recorded material is good.
